Privacy

No accounts, no ads, no advertising trackers, and nothing is sold or shared. Here is exactly what is recorded and for how long.

Games

A game stores the player names you type (nicknames are fine) and the scores, so everyone can follow it from the shared link. Games that were never started are deleted after 24 hours without activity, and games in progress after 7 days without activity. Finished and cancelled games are kept with their scores as plain game history.

Visit statistics

Visits are counted with Umami, which runs on my own server. It uses no cookies, does not keep IP addresses and cannot follow you from one site to another. It records the page, the country, the type of browser and device, where you came from, which buttons are used (for example "New game") and how fast pages load. The address of a game (which works like a private link) is replaced by /game/* before anything is sent. A second, simple counter on the server stores the page, the date, whether the device is mobile and a daily code that cannot be reversed, to count visitors once per day.

Contact form

If you write to me, your message and the email address you may add are saved so that I can answer, in the same way as any email you would send me. Ask me and I will delete it.

Server logs and errors

The web server keeps technical logs, including IP addresses, for 30 days. Errors are reported to a monitoring tool on my own server (GlitchTip) with the technical details needed to fix them, such as the page and the browser.

Cookie and your device

A cookie remembers the language you chose and protects the contact form. It is only set when you start a game, change the language during a game or open the contact form, and it is not used for tracking. Your browser also keeps the latest finished games, the players list, the theme and the install reminder on your device only. Clearing the site data of your browser removes all of it.

Other sites

The "Buy me a pint" link leaves this site: the donation service has its own privacy policy. Nothing else is loaded from third-party services.

Your choices

Use the contact form to ask for a message or a game to be deleted, or for any question about this page.

How to Play

Setup

Each player throws with their non-dominant hand — wherever it lands is their number for the whole game. If a number is already taken, they throw again.

Scoring

Not a killer: hit your own number for +1 point (double +2, triple +3), up to 3 points. If you hit another player's number, that player gets the points, doubled or tripled the same way.

Becoming a Killer

At 3 points you become the Killer ⊕. Status is checked dart by dart: below 3 points you are not a killer any more. As a killer, hitting another player's number removes points from them (double 2, triple 3); hitting your own removes your own points.

Elimination

A player is eliminated when their score drops below 0. If a killer removes all their points and keeps hitting, the target goes out.

Winning

Last player standing wins!
